The Kentucky component of ADSA represents the mission and leadership of the nation’s leading nonprofit authority in dental anesthesiology. The mission of the Kentucky Dental Society of Anesthesiology is to provide a forum for education and achievement in order to promote safe and effective patient care for all dentists who have an interest in anesthesiology, sedation and the control of anxiety and pain.

- Dr. Irvin Smith MD, (Anesthesiologist) – General Anesthesia & sedation medication review, Morbidity & complications prevention & management.
- Jeremy Jeffrey BS, MBA, EMT-P, CCP-C, FP -C, TP-C (Critical Care, Flight, & Tactical Paramedic) – Airway assessment & airway management. Including hands-on skills training.
- Dr. Dan Abell DMD, EMT-P, FAAID, DABOI/ID, (General Dentist, Paramedic, Fellow AAID, Diplomat ABOI/ID) – Review of statutes & regulations. Medical risk assessment for anesthesia & sedation, how the patient’s health history should alter the sedation plan. Recovery & discharge criteria.
